Tailwheel training is typically structured in 2-hour lesson blocks, giving you plenty of hands-on flight time and detailed instruction without feeling rushed. Most pilots achieve proficiency — and are ready for their endorsement — in about 5 to 10 hours, depending on prior experience and learning pace.

Tailwheel training is billed at $180/hr for the aircraft and $50/hr for instruction, for a total of $230 per hour.

Get the spin endorsement you need with focused, FAA-compliant training designed specifically for CFI applicants. You'll gain a solid understanding of stall/spin dynamics, recovery procedures, and in-flight experience with fully developed spins. Training is conducted by an experienced instructor in a safe, structured environment.
CFI spin training is conducted in a single, comprehensive 2-hour session, which includes a detailed ground briefing, in-flight spin awareness and recovery training, and a post-flight debrief. This session fulfills the FAA spin endorsement requirement for CFI applicants and is designed to ensure you're both knowledgeable and confident in spin dynamics and recovery techniques.
Complete CFI spin training is offered at a flat rate of $400.
